Apex Performance Tuning Terms & Service

1. Overview of Services

Apex Performance Tuning (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides mobile mechanic services designed to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles at approved locations.

By booking a service through our Shopify booking platform, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


2. Booking Process

Our booking process is designed to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and proper service preparation:

  1. Booking Submission
    • Customer submits a service request through our booking system with vehicle details, issue description, and preferred service location.
  2. Review & Assessment
    • A certified Apex mechanic will review the request to evaluate feasibility, scope, and service requirements.
  3. Service Location Determination
    • While customers may request a location, Apex reserves the right to approve or modify the service location if:
      • The requested location is unsafe
      • The service cannot be completed properly on-site
      • Specialized equipment or shop access is required
  4. Estimate & Service Plan (Within 24 Hours)
    • Within 24 hours, the customer will receive:
      • Service estimate (labor + projected cost range)
      • Required parts list
      • Service location confirmation or modification
      • Appointment time confirmation
  5. Deposit Request
    • A $50 deposit is required to secure the appointment.
    • The appointment is NOT confirmed until deposit is received.

3. Deposits & Payment Terms

  • The $50 deposit will be:
    • Applied toward the final service total
    • Required prior to scheduling confirmation
  • Remaining balance is due:
    • At the completion of service
    • Or as otherwise stated in the estimate
  • Accepted payment methods:
    • [Insert: Card, Cash, Shopify Payments, etc.]

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Customers may cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours notice.
  • Late Cancellations (within 48 hours of appointment):
    • Deposit will be forfeited
  • On-Time Cancellations (more than 48 hours notice):
    • Deposit will be converted into a credit
    • Credit can be applied to any division of Apex Performance Garage

5. No-Show Policy

  • Failure to be present or provide access to the vehicle at the scheduled time will be considered a no-show.
  • No-shows result in:
    • Immediate forfeiture of deposit
    • Possible refusal of future bookings at Apex’s discretion

6. Service Limitations (Mobile Mechanic)

Mobile services are subject to certain limitations. Apex reserves the right to:

  • Decline or reschedule services that:
    • Require lifts, heavy machinery, or shop-grade equipment
    • Present safety hazards
    • Cannot be completed in a mobile setting

In such cases, customers may be referred to:

  • Our shop-based services (Phase 2)
  • Or an approved partner location

7. Parts & Materials

  • Customers will be informed of required parts prior to service.
  • Parts may be:
    • Supplied by Apex
    • Or approved if provided by the customer

Important:

  • Apex is not responsible for failure of customer-supplied parts
  • Additional labor charges may apply if incorrect parts are provided

8. Estimates & Pricing

  • All estimates are based on initial information provided
  • Final pricing may vary if:
    • Additional issues are discovered during service
    • Parts or labor requirements change

Customer approval will be obtained before proceeding with additional work whenever possible.


9. Customer Responsibilities

By booking, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle and issue information
  • Ensure safe and legal access to the vehicle
  • Be present or available during service window
  • Ensure the service location allows work to be performed safely

10. Liability Disclaimer

  • Apex Performance Garage is not responsible for:
    • Pre-existing damage
    • Hidden mechanical issues not disclosed or visible during initial inspection
    • Delays due to parts availability or external factors
  • Services are performed with professional care, but no guarantees are made beyond standard workmanship expectations unless explicitly stated

11. Warranty Disclaimer

  • Any warranties on services or parts will be:
    • Clearly stated on invoice (if applicable)
  • No warranty applies to:
    • Customer-supplied parts
    • Pre-existing or unrelated mechanical issues

12. Right to Refuse Service

Apex reserves the right to refuse or cancel service if:

  • Safety concerns arise
  • Customer behavior is inappropriate
  • Service conditions are unsuitable
  • Required deposit is not paid

13. Communication

  • All official communication will be conducted via:
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Booking platform notifications

Customers are responsible for checking communications regarding their appointment.


14. Modifications to Terms

Apex Performance Garage reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the website.

By submitting a booking, you acknowledge that you have:
